John is a procurement specialist and prior to joining the firm he was a senior legal advisor to the public procurement regulatory authority of Uganda.

He started his career in the employ of the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs where he worked in the Attorney General’s Chambers. He represented various Ministries, Government Agencies and Local Governments in matters ranging from breach of contract to violations of human rights.

During his tenure with the public procurement regulatory authority, John played a key role in the preparation of Standard Bidding Documents and the amendment of the procurement laws. Between 2014 to 2019 he provided legal representation in 93% of the cases handled in the Procurement Appeals Tribunal. He also has vast litigation experience in the courts of law. John has utilized this experience to successfully obtain favorable decisions for our clients.

He is an advocate of the High Court of Uganda and a member of the Uganda and East Africa law societies. He attained the qualification to be a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK).
